Hearth workshops working in the disability sector with WHFNC

Hearth Support Services Bendigo Hamish Richards

Hearth builds its partnership with the White Hills Football Netball Club

WHFNC’s Damian O’Brien and Tony Gellatly invited Hearth to talk to the players after training Thursday 16th June about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and importantly, the significant employment opportunities in the sector and specifically at Hearth Support Services Bendigo.

Hearth founder, Justin Scanlon along with Hearth Bendigo Team Leader Amanda Marek, and Hearth Support Worker Hamish Richards presented what the role of a NDIS Disability Support Worker is and the “Hearth Approach” to disability support.

The holistic Hearth Approach to disability services has resonated with Clients who are looking for a long-term disability support services provider partnership.

Hearth Support Services has several key elements to its innovative approach to disability support services. This includes the Relationship Manager role, the passion for Support Worker matching of Participants needs and interests and the quality of the central support team including expert compliance.

Importantly, Hamish, pictured above, a current Hearth Support Worker and member of the WHFNC shared his experience, being new to support work.

Hearth opened an office in Bendigo and Geelong last year and have been building a number of key community connections to learn and seek to positively impact the local community. This is consistent with the approach the past 5 years in Metropolitan Melbourne.

Hearth Support Services has gone through enormous change over the last 5 years since its inception in 2017!

Today Hearth Disability Support Services is an innovative and rapidly growing NDIS registered and audited provider with hundreds of Clients and hundreds of Disability Support Workers operating 24/7, 365 days a year.

At Hearth we have continued to evolve and learn rapidly to build capability, systems, and processes to be able to sustainably support a wide range of Client/Participant needs, leading to positive outcomes for our participants including some of the highest intensity support Participants in Victoria.

If you would like to learn more about Hearth Support Services, please give Amanda from our Bendigo office a call on 0437 262 944.
