Hearth Managing Director, Justin Scanlon, was invited to the ‘Connecting with Industry Event’ at Swinburne University of Technology on Wednesday, May 8.The event was a networking opportunity for students and other industry partners including, Ernst & Young (EY), Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) and Pitcher Partners.
Swinburne has partnered with local and global organisations for over 50 years. They promote a ‘know-how’ approach to learning, providing student opportunities such as in-house work experience, professional skills development and industry knowledge. It could be an Accredited placement, compulsory to one’s degree or an Internship elected to further one’s career.
Professional Placements Manager, Travis Keating, was thrilled to see strong interactions between Swinburne partners and students. There was a lot of great feedback after Justin’s address about placement internship opportunities at Hearth. “Hearth doesn’t need banners to have interested students flocking,” Travis says.
