La Trobe Bendigo Students Discover NDIS Support Work

Hearth Support Services Stand at La Trobe Bendigo

La Trobe Bendigo students discover the benefits of NDIS Support Work

Hearth Support Services was super excited to participate in La Trobe’s Bendigo on campus “Orientation Week” activities.

What are the benefits of NDIS Support Work?

La Trobe students visiting the Hearth stand were keen to discuss the benefits of NDIS support work.

First and foremost, NDIS support work is meaningful and rewarding as you are supporting individuals with a disability to lead their best life.

In addition, NDIS support work provides students with a good rate of pay, flexibility and highly relevant life experience which can assist with their future careers. Specifically support work can assist in developing critical thinking skills, interpersonal communication skills and goal achievement planning skills.

All these skills are highly transferable and attractive to all employers. In addition, Allied Health and Psychology students can obtain invaluable practical on the job work experience which could potentially accelerate their transition into their chosen career.

Why choose to work for Hearth Support Services?
