Tasha begins Swinburne placement at Hearth

Hearth welcomes Tasha Church as she commences her placement as a Junior Relationship Manager at Hearth. Hearth offers university students the opportunity to complete a 12-week internship or a 12-month placement as part of their degree. Professional placements create future employment opportunities and boost professional skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Tasha is studying a Bachelor of Health Science (Psychology and Psychophysiology) at Swinburne University. She requested permission to commence her placement in the second year of her degree. Hearth Relationship Manager, Nicole Zampogna is training Tasha as a Relationship Manager. Swinburne undergraduate students are assessed on their ability to reflect critically on their placement.

Nicole is a graduate of the 12-week Swinburne/ Hearth internship and Hearth Relationship Manager; one of the most critical roles at Hearth. Relationship Managers work one-on-one with Participants and their families in matching and coordinating Support Worker and Participant schedules. Tasha is already on the way to building relationships with Hearth families and recently attended her first home visit.
