Amy Burren commenced working with Hearth Allied Health in August 2021.
Prior to gaining her Masters in Speech Pathology, Amy studied a Bachelor of Nursing.
Whilst completing her clinical placements for her Bachelor of Nursing Amy discovered speech pathology as a profession, and decided to pursue it as a career
Before joining the Hearth Allied Health team, Amy Burren worked as a speech pathologist at Monash Health, working in the areas of geriatric evaluation and management, neurorehabilitation and community rehabilitation.
Amy Burren enjoys working with a variety of clients across the continuum of support and enjoys all aspects of service delivery from assessment, intervention, and client advocacy.
With a wide range of interests and experience Amy, particularly enjoys working with Participants who experience apraxia of speech, adult dysphagia, communication disorders and complex communication needs requiring assistive technology.
Amy Burren has successfully supported many Participants through the NDIS plan review process to ensure that they receive the best possible supports from the NDIS to work towards their goals and so they can have the opportunity to live their best life.
