Kelly has wide-ranging experience working with children, young people and families experiencing complex issues including, family violence and abuse, trauma, substance dependence and addiction, homelessness, relational issues, disability, challenging behaviours including self-harm, impulse control issues and school refusal.
She has extensive experience working collaboratively in case management alongside organisations such as the Department of Health and Human Services, emergency housing, child and adolescent mental health teams, employment agencies and child protection to maximize positive outcomes for her clients.
Kelly takes a client centred approach with all interactions and considers autonomy in one’s life as a basic human right. She believes that all people, regardless of disability or other diagnoses, are entitled to live happy and fulfilled lives where they are free to exert choice and control. Kelly works with determination to ensure that her clients are empowered to do this.
