Maddy Bilal is a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner who joined Hearth Allied Health in August 2021, bringing a wealth of experience from her work in the disability sector, child protection, refugee support, family services and education.

Upholding human rights and building inclusive societies has been a consistent focus for Maddy Bilal throughout her career.

As an advocate for inclusion, choice, and control for all people Maddy’s interests align well with the NDIS Practice Standards and her work in Positive Behaviour Support.

Maddy Bilal enjoys working collaboratively on interdisciplinary teams, collectively seeking positive and desired outcomes for NDIS Participants.

Following 4 years working in refugee camps with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), Maddy Bilal developed a special interest in the effect of trauma and the importance of working from a trauma informed perspective with Clients.

As a Case Practice Support Worker in the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing Maddy developed a deep understanding of Clients whose life experience intersects with the justice system.

In addition to her extensive sector experience, Maddy Bilal holds a Diploma of Community Services and a Master of Public Administration from the University of the Punjab

Impressively in addition to English Maddy speaks fluent, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.
